Ok, so I've been lurking on this site for a while and finally registered. Since then, I've been lurking on the blog area, reading everyone else's posts, and finally decided to start my own. So a little about me...

I'm 34, married mother to two (DD 6 and DS 4) living in northern NJ. I work part-time, and was raised in a really frugal home. (My mother could stretch a buck better than anyone I know!). Anyway, we're doing ok financially, but we live in a pretty expensive area, so between mortgage, retirement, college savings for 2 kids, and day-to-day life, I like to save as much as I can. I've looked at a bunch of websites and am definitely most comfortable here. I think Jeffrey and Nate do a great job!

I'm going to use this journal to track daily expenses and observations about where my money goes. I hope anyone reading it finds it interesting...
